Microsoft Data Transformation Services (DTS)

Microsoft DTS is a free, built-in feature of Microsoft SQL Server that allows data transformation and interchange between databases. With DTS, Microsoft gives the SQL Server 2000 the power to import, export and transform data from diverse sources into single or multiple destinations.

DTS is the most affordable ETL tool available on the market today and is very effective for structured data sources (rather than flat files, HTML or XML) and when required transformations contain little business logic. CFT recommends clients to build their systems on the top of DTS.

Microsoft Analysis Services (MS OLAP)
